    Convolvulus Sabatius (syn.c.mauritanicus), or Blue Convolvulus is a fast growing perennial ground cover with vibrant purple - blue flowers that are produced in abundance amongst the soft grey-green spreading leaves. Blue Convolvulus loves full sun, but can handle partial shade, in well drained soils and is tolerant of light frost,  coastal conditions and extended dry conditions. Fertilising in spring and giving an occasional deep watering over the summer months, will help to keep this spreading ground cover look great all year.     Hosta Fire Island  has Bright yellow leaves accented by  red stems in the spring months. Lavender Coloured Flowers appear in the Summer Months adding a beautiful contrast to the bright yellow foliage.  New Growth of Fire island Starts as bright Yellow and can fade to a Green Colour as the season Progresses. The leaves of Fire Island become gently rippled and older plants have defined corrugation.  Hostas  enjoy morning sun only and for best results enjoy dappled shaded areas for the rest of the day in moist well drained soils. Plum Gorgeous likes to be in a full sun to partial shaded aspect, we have had ours in a little bit more shade ( dappled light),  than suggested here in our gardens and they are still great looking, but perform better with a bit more sunlight.     Nemesia Foetens, or White Perennial Nemesia is a fast growing, long flowering shrub with a compact mounding habit, that has a prolific display of lightly scented snowy white flowers from the Autumn months through to Spring and spot flowering throughout the year. White Nemesia grows 45cms tall by 60cms wide and will grow in most soil types that are well draining. White Nemesia tolerates frost and dry conditions, but it is best that you mulch well around it to help retain moisture during the drier periods of the year. Regular pruning by half after main flowering and a feed of slow release fertiliser will encourage new growth and further flowering Nemesia White is ideal for cottage gardens, garden edges/borders, as a ground cover, in hanging baskets or pots/containers and grows well in small or narrow spaces.
