Nandina Firepower is a small evergreen shrub that has stunning vibrant green foliage that turns red with tinges of yellow & bronze during the cooler months. Firepower can grow up to 90cms tall by 45 cms wide in a full sun to partial shaded position. Firepower is great as a hedge or border and looks equally great in garden beds or containers, it is the perfect no maintenance plant
Cuphea Violet is an evergreen low growing bushy shrub bearing masses of Violet flowers for most of the year. Cuphea Violet grows 50cm tall by 50cms wide in a sunny to part sunny position in moist well drained soils and responds well to regular pruning for a bushier habit. Cuphea Violet is ideal as a low hedge or border and is a tough rockery plant, great in all types of garden and containers.
one of my favourite grevilleas Mt Tamboritha, is a spreading evergreen shrub with dark green foliage crowded along stems. Masses of pinkish, red & cream, spider like flowers appear year round, but mainly in late winter and spring.
Mt Tamboritha will grow 40cm tall by 1+ metres wide in a full sun to part shade garden in moist but well drained soils. Mt Tamboritha is ideal for ground covers, rockeries, embankments, garden borders, spilling over retaining walls and decorative pots.
Mt Tamboritha is tolerant of part shade, light frost, coastal conditions and extended dry conditions once established.
