Peperomia Puteolata Diamond… also known by one of our other suppliers as “Rocca Verde”, or the radiator plant, is an attractive trailing form of Peperomia that has light green leaves with even lighter green stripes.
Peperomias are fantastic hardy indoor plants and thrive, if kept in the right conditions and positions and they are, keep in a warm position, in indirect, natural light, no hot, fierce direct sunlight what so ever, Peperomias can tolerate periods of low light and will survive, but just wont be as vigorous or as impressive to look at, they also like to be lightly moist, in well drained potting mix, so water your peperomias sparingly as they prefer drier conditions…. but not sopping wet or they will rot, a good rule of thumb is to let the soil dry out completely before watering, so that the roots can get a bit of air circulation, this will prevent root rot and also try not to get the foliage too wet.
If they get too scraggy, dont be afraid to prune your Peperomias in order to encourage more compact newer growth, i feed them every 6 months with a slow release fertiliser for indoor plants and liquid feed them monthly during the mid Spring until the end of Summer, for best growth, health, performance and results.
