Syngonium White Butterfly 18cm…. small size at the moment… limited number left until Summer 2021

$13.98

Syngonium Podophyllum White Butterfly, one of my favourite of the arrowhead plants, is a popular tropical foliage plant with lush bright green foliage dusted with veins of cream. White Butterfly is ideally suited to and thrives in full sun to partial shade in  humid tropical areas of the planet, but here in Victoria, we use it as an indoor plant to liven up homes, offices, classrooms, enclosed or covered decks, patios and verandas.

As mentioned above, White Butterfly is ideally suited to indoors in natural  filtered light, protected from draughts,  in pots and containers, trained up a trellis or totem pole and is also ideal in hanging baskets, where its foliage can be best displayed, for additional colour,   to liven up dull areas of the home / office, studio etc.

Avoid over watering, Liquid feed the Syngonium monthly from the Spring months and through the Summer months, when it is more likely to be actively growing and only water the soil when it is dry to touch, keep the soil slightly moist,  to avoid over watering and causing root rot. Water more frequently during warmer periods and less frequently during the cooler seasons.

White Butterfly is ideal for hanging baskets or for training up totem poles in pots and containers, it could even be used on a trellis in a large pot for interior partitions for homes, offices and classrooms. It needs support as it is a climbing variety.

Indoor plants are great for removing toxins and providing clean healthy air inside buildings and homes, but try to resist the temptation  of eating them, i know they look lush and delicious, but it is not advisable to consume them ( you would need to eat a lot to get sick in the first place), or you may end up spending more time on the toilet than you would like
